Music to Help End Stigma

I recently heard a song by Logic, a rapper who is originally from Gaithersburg, MD, titled “1-800-273-8255”.  For those who don’t recognize that number, it is the phone number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.  I immediately purchased this track in support of Logic sharing such a vital message.  With suicide rates as painfully high as they are Logic is helping to de-stigmatize mental illness and the need to ask for help.  In addition, it’s a really good song.  You can listen to it below:

Another rapper whose music can inspire those who need help, this time with addiction, is Eminem.  His song “Not Afraid” has become what I consider the anthem to addiction recovery.  Eminem’s song has been around much longer than Logic’s “1-800-273-8255”, but in my opinion, both songs do the important work of raising awareness around otherwise stigmatized topics.  Eminem’s “Not Afraid” is below:

Are there any songs I left out?  I am the first to admit that my music knowledge is limited, please share either through email or in the comments section if there are any other songs about recovery/mental illness acceptance.
