I just came across this great article that talks about Baltimore’s opioid epidemic and what the Baltimore Health Commissioner, Dr. Leana Wen, is doing about it.  I highly recommend this read.  It not only discusses what Baltimore is doing to help save lives, but also contains a video in which Dr. Wen shows how to administer the life saving drug, Naloxone.
